#1 Yoshi's Island
It's no secret, video games construct worlds out of sheer imagination, including some we wish we could visit in 8-bit or 64-bit form. Luckily, a slew of artists and graphic designers have brought game titles to our world, and classics like "Yoshi's Island" look like an entirely different realm.
#2 Mega Man
Mega Man has traveled to multiple universes but how would he fair in the real world? Would he be able to survive attacks from streetcars, buses and the homeless? Mankind will never know as the N64 take on the helmet hero never panned out to be amazing.
#3 Doom
Ever wondered what the last stand in the "Doom" video game series would be like? We imagine it'd be something that's close to this depiction, just almost ten times scarier and without Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.
#4 Double Dragon
The premises of the "Double Dragon" series never really added up but they did add to the rise of martial arts in the '80s/'90s. If only they weren't so difficult to beat because even outside pawn shops and factories, it was pretty easy to die. All the time.
#5 Ninja Gaiden
Because they resorted to 8-bit and 16-bit consoles, video games rarely got to see a lot of action during consoles. That is, outside of "Ninja Gaiden", an action/adventure title that's still renowned for its sequence featuring two clashing warriors of the night.
#6 Excitebike
It's no "Road Rash" - which was a legendary console game in its own right - but Excitebike practically introduced the gamers to the world of extreme sports. This creation is pretty much perfect but it could use a few oil spills.
#7 Super Mario Bros 3
The third installment of "Super Mario" brought brings back a lot of memories for most of us - including visualizations of furries - but it's guaranteed that no one would want to go for a swim in that world. To be fair, you'd be better off chilling with Koopas.
